The club was formed in 2001 after Stourport Athletic Club (which was formed in 1973) and Kidderminster Running Club joined forces with the opening of a new track and club house.

We promote athletics in all its form in the area and at present are going through a very successful phase with over 180 members drawn from all over the district. We pride ourselves as being friendly, and welcome all newcomers whatever their ability and whether they have belonged to a club or not. So whether you are already a seasoned athlete or a first time jogger, we can cater for you. We have a strong Junior section for 9 – 16 years and welcome whole families.
